It's called " Attachment Tamer" and I'm going to try it out later this week. Today I found out about an app that MAY correct the flaws in Apple's email app. I had some unhappy things happen with that setup in the past. Yes, I could use Outlook, but I don't want my Exchange client mail account mixed with my other accounts. Many people suggest Attachment Tamer (15). Let's don't blow their minds with uncompressing files. Attachment Tamer gives you control over attachment handling in Apple Mail. Attachment Tamer for Mac makes Apple Mail attachments like photos and graphics easier to handle, and also uses HTML formatting to improve readability for recipients. "Just zip your attachments!" people suggest.ĭid I mention how the other people have problems doing simple operations on their computers? Which actually means that Mail is the problem, to me.īut don't tell Apple, because they (or their fanboys) will just explain to you how you don't understand why the app works the way it does. Not sure which, but downloading it and reinstalling fixed it Thanks again for your help. in truth I find that most people are pretty stupid when it comes to computers.īut a person's inability to work their own machine doesn't matter because I'm the only rough patch they encounter when going through their mail, which means that I'm really the problem. Got it - Attachment Tamer either needed updated or was corrupt. These people are the kind who generally don't know how to right-click an image and save it to their hard drive. they're squashed or small, in some way confounding. The worst part is that people on Windows machines often have problems viewing the images. It embeds them inline, wherever your cursor happens to be - even if you're mid-word. I despise the way that Apple's email program handles attachments.
